Chemical Dependency is a widespread condition that affects men, women and children alike. Prescription drugs, illegal drugs, and alcohol, are the most prevalent forms of addictive substances. Over 20.7 millions are affected by this disease.

At Santa Anita Family Service our Chemical Dependency and Substance Abuse prevention and intervention programs and services offer hope to adolescents, adults, and their families with treatment promoting a drug-free lifestyle.

Services include: 

  • 12-month Chemical Dependency treatment programs for adolescents and adults offering a certificate of completion which complies with most court requirements for Substance Abuse treatment. Based upon individual treatment plan created with each client, services within these programs may include:
    • Chemical Dependency groups
    • Random drug testing
    • Individual counseling sessions
    • On-site 12-step meetings (adolescents only)
    • Case Management
    • Referrals & Resources
  • Adolescent Drug Early Intervention groups
  • Adolescent Drug Prevention groups
  • PC-1000 Drug Diversion Program
  • Individual counseling sessions

Los Angeles County grants we service in coordination with:
