The mission of the Santa Anita Family Service is to serve families in communities located primarily in the San Gabriel Valley by creating healthier and more stable children and adults through high quality educational, mental health, social services and senior programs provided by impassioned and dedicated professionals.

For more than 50 years Santa Anita Family Service has grown to provide support for those residents in our area who are most needy.

We believe that income should not be a barrier for individuals and families who need help coping with various stressors of day to day life, or unforeseen events, or pre-existing physical or mental conditions.

Further, we believe in treating anyone who seeks our services with the utmost dignity and respect.

Since 1951, we have seen thousands of successful families and individuals leave our facilities or counselors and become functional again, and able to create and maintain a healthful, productive lifestyle.

We believe that it is our goal not simply to provide counseling – but to provide counseling and services that are solution and outcome based.

Our dedicated and Licensed Counseling and Senior Center staff genuinely care about our clients. We understand that everyone is an individual and that one size does not fit all.

Our vision is to always be able to meet our mission goals by continuing to provide a nurturing, highly comfortable and safe environment run by an eminently qualified and caring staff.

We strive to achieve the absolute best possible outcome for each individual or family seeking help in the areas of child abuse, drug and alcohol related problems, behavioral health problems, domestic violence, out of home foster placement of children, corrective educational experiences and child enrichment activities.

Our mission is all encompassing, and includes a broad base of social services for seniors and their families… all to increase dignity and independence.
