Santa Anita Family Service is proud to announce that it has been awarded four new grant contracts from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS).
Two of the grants are allocated to seniors services for Supervisoral Districts 1 and 5. A third grant is put towards case management services for District 5. Finally, the fourth grant is for services related to domestic violence for District 1. These grants will help fund the above services to be provided for individuals, seniors, and families that fall below the Federal Poverty guidelines. These contracts will commence on July 1, 2008.
We are pleased to announce Diane Ward will become the Project Coordinator for the senior services program. Diane is a Case Manger in our senior center and has been with SAFS for over four years.
We are equally pleased to announce Tashera Taylor will head the domestic violence and case management programs. Tashera is a Case Manager in our outpatient drug services program and has been with SAFS for over four years.
Additionally, both women will be responsible for the training and supervision of our Case Management Student Training program for the 2008-2009 fiscal year.
